RAN Design Expert Engineer (F/H)

CONTEXT AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Network Solutions Factory is a multicultural company always seeking new talent!

We are looking for a RAN Design Expert to strengthen our team of 40 Radio Optimization Engineers.

You will be responsible for:

• Proposing and testing short, medium and long-term RAN strategy evolutions for Huawei and Ericsson networks: spectral strategies, new features, mobility strategies, load management, energy efficiency, hardware configuration evolution strategies, and decommissioning of 2G/3G technologies.
• Conducting network consistency checks: RF and transmission performance audits, and controller health checks.
• Supporting radio design activities: coverage and capacity studies.
• Analyzing traces: field measurements and end-to-end assessments.

PROFILE

You hold a master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering (BAC+5) or have an equivalent level acquired through professional experience, and you have significant experience in radio optimization (10+ years), including at least 2 years in a comparable role.

• Strong teamwork

• Long-term vision
• Advanced knowledge of 3GPP protocol standards
• Advanced expertise in Ericsson, Huawei and/or ZTE RAN
• Proficiency in radio coverage simulation tools
• Experience in radio coverage simulation and optimization
• Expertise in drive test analysis (especially TEMS Discovery)
• End-to-end protocol analysis (Anritsu, Exfo, etc.)
