RF ENGINEER (M/F)

To strengthen our teams, we are offering a position as a Radio Engineer within the Design / RF Planning department. Integrated into a team of experts, you will be responsible for a defined geographical region with the following duties:

• Cellular design and dimensioning of the mobile access network (2G/3G/4G/5G);
• Radio coverage studies (3G/4G/5G), validation of new radio site locations while considering environmental constraints and marketing objectives;
• Design of proposals aimed at optimizing network planning and delivering improved network quality;
• General and detailed design studies (HLD and LLD) for RAN solutions and equipment;
• Design and development of tools for network planning process automation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You have a master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and experience in Radio Engineering:

• Radio planning tool high skills (Atoll mainly, Planet, and/or Asset/Aircom) for conducting radio simulations, frequency/SC/PCI/RSI planning, and utilizing advanced features such as Automated Cell Planning (ACP).
• Knowledge of Ericsson 3G/4G/5G  radio access network is required (ENM, RAN solutions).
• Skills in development (Python, scripting, SQL, etc.) for automating tasks are also required.
• Experience with other vendors such as Huawei and ZTE is a plus.

Naturally curious, you are interested in the telecommunications ecosystem and enjoy investigating complex technical topics. Your rigor, ability to work in a team, and quick adaptability will be key assets for successfully carrying out your tasks.

English is mandatory (written/spoken) to be able to lead meetings with a non-french speaking audience.

A technical interview will be conducted in English with a particular focus on radio design coverage (link budget and cellular planning).
